Hanging Shelves

This is made of recycled materials. Sorry for I was excited to make this project that I forgot to take photos of the first step. When I found these woods, this idea came to my mind.

First, I made a shelves out of old woods and plyboard then nailed the wood on the plywood in an alternate position.

Then,I ripped a old magazine pages into pieces and paste them to the plyboard using a homemade glue to cover up the stains. You can find the DIY homemade glue here. You can use paint instead of papers to cover the stains if you are using old woods or varnish if you want it to be more plain. When doing the paper mache, put a thin layer of glue on the top of the paper to prevent bubble from forming and the edge from rolling then let it dry.

2. For the shelves, I used a left over wallpaper. It really make sense to me. Loving the very light green color and cute floral design in it.

Now you can nail it anywhere you want.

So here's the finish product.

Perfect for you cosmetics, small stuffed toys or picture frames.
Hope you find this blog post useful! Thanks!
